Tabor Adamah Sauvignon Blanc (2013)

Tabor Adamah Sauvignon Blanc (2013)

Sauvignon Blanc, more than any other whites, should be young. It is not usually an ageing wine. So 2013 is perfect. Tabor is based in the beautiful lower Galilee region at the foot of Mount Tabor and this lovely dry wine is part of their Adamah series. A very crisp, vibrant and sharp Sauvignon which is particularly well balanced. Medium to full body with more zest than fruit. Lemon, kiwi, a hint of grassiness. Serve chilled (8 or 9 celsius) and drink within 3 days of opening. By the way, don’t be put off by the screw top as these are now de facto in the modern wine-making world especially for whites.

Tips: Best companion for fish. Also pasta.
