Lotus Biscoff

Lotus Biscoff

You’ve probably seen these before while visiting your local coffee shop. They’re the complimentary, individually wrapped little biscuits that come with your Cappuccino. That’s right, the ones with the red label. Well if, like us, you’d like to enjoy them at home as well, why not buy a full packet? The Lotus Bakeries story began in Belgium in 1932 when the Boone family began baking the decorative caramelised biscuits and delivering them door to door in their signature red truck. Over the past 78 years Lotus have become renowned for their caramelised Biscoff, which is a variation of the traditional European biscuit called Speculoos. It is a crunchy, crumbly biscuit whose main feature is its aromatic blend of spices: cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg etc. giving this unassuming little fellow a definite punch in the crunch.

Tips: Pretend to be in your local café and dip them in your tea or coffee.
